The Dawn of Homo Sapiens

And on the raw earth, thump-thump, what raindrop fall!
Why are the old ones huddling in soggy canopies
When light is already breaking through?

Well well, lad laddie... It matters not.
Only the glistening dew-drops under rocky slopes
Shiver in the sun, crystal nudgeskin romp.
I watch.
Play under the great cascade, I bring my eyes to you.
Please go on and I'll be mum.

All is done and the sky darkens.
Water rolls under the pebblerun,
A splash dampens in cottonmouth.

And then...
Just a full fromp of the frog's mouth
At nighthly frogs' bathhouse.
